Established in 2000

Cunupia Secondary was opened on 9th October 2000 by then

Education Minister Mrs. Kamala Persad-Bissessar.

It is a co-educational government secondary school which

prepares students to write the CSEC/CXC and NCSE examinations.

Our Goal

Cunupia Secondary is committed to the holistic development of the

child. The school has already established a strong moral and values tradition

which is maintained by regular Assemblies, Religious Education, Home Room

Periods and Celebrations of national events.

Our Facilities

There are state of the art facilities such as an air-conditioned resource

centre comprising two Computer Labs, a Library, a Lecture Room,

an Audio-Visial Room and a Language Lab.

There are Science Labs, a Music Room, Art&Craft room, a Mathematics Lab,

a spacious auditorium, a cafeteria and two sprawling playing fields.

Students have the opportunity to participate in many co-curricular

activities of the school such as, football, cricket, netball, martial arts, athletics,

police youth club and more.

The school also has special facilities to cater for the physically challenged.
