SEA Registration Details

CUNUPIA SECONDARY SCHOOL FORM 1 REGISTRATION 2026

DATE: Thursday 9 July, 2026

TIME: 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

LOCATION: Cunupia Secondary School, Hassarath Road Cunupia.

VENUE: School Assembly Hall

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

1. Parents and students must observe the dress code protocol as directed by the Ministry of Education and must be respectful to all on the compound.

2. PARENT REQUIREMENTS: Parents/(Legal) Guardians accompanying the student must present the original and copy of at least one form identification (National I.D. Card, Driver’s Permit or Passport).

3. STUDENT REQUIREMENTS: To complete the student’s registration, the following documents are required:

a. Student’s Computerised Birth Certificate and Immunization Card.

b. Proof of citizenship if student is a national born outside of Trinidad and Tobago.

c. Valid Student’s Permit and any relevant documents if student is a non-national. If the Student’s Permit is expired, proof of renewal process must be presented.

An affidavit is required in instances where:

a. There is no name on the Birth Certificate

b. The name on the Birth Certificate does not correspond with that on the results listing.

4. Original and copy of Custodial Agreement where necessary.

5. 2 Passport-sized photographs of student with a white background. Student’s name must be clearly and legibly written at the back of the photograph.

6. EMERGENCY CONTACT REQUIREMENTS:

Original and copy of at least one form of identification (National I.D. Card, Driver’s Permit or Passport) of persons other than the parents, who are authorised to collect students in cases of emergency or illness.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

STUDENT REQUESTS:

a. Parents/Guardians must sign the Declaration Form (available at the school) for students who are not accepting places.

b. Parents/Guardians MUST complete the registration and complete the Request for Transfer Form (available at the school) on the day of registration for students seeking a transfer to another Secondary School. Note that transfers are not guaranteed.

QUERIES AND REVIEWS

To request a review of a student’s script/s (ELA Writing, Mathematics and English Language Arts) parents/guardians are required to:

i. Obtain a Request for Review Form (available at the school).

ii. Pay $25.00 per subject (Barbados currency) to the Registrar, Caribbean Examination Council, in the form of a BANK DRAFT.

iii. Submit a copy of the student’s Birth Certificate.

iv. Submit the completed Request for Review Form with the bank draft attached, to the School’s Supervisor at the Education District Office, no later than July 10, 2026.

Review of scripts will be done by CXC®, Barbados. No late requests will be entertained.

THERE WILL BE NO REGISTRATION FEE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE POLICY OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION.
